King Charles was photographed driving near Balmoral as Prince Harry and Meghan returned to Britain with their children after six years in the United States. The return is significant because it follows the Sussexes’ departure from royal duties in 2020 and comes amid continuing tensions between Harry and Prince William.

Charles, 77, is spending the summer at Balmoral with senior members of the Royal Family and continues to receive cancer treatment. Harry, 41, and Meghan, 45, reportedly plan to live in a non-royal home outside London while retaining properties in California and Portugal; Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, have been enrolled at UK schools near the Cotswolds. The King and Queen are also due to undertake a Caribbean tour from 27 October to 4 November, alongside Charles’s planned visits to the Bahamas and Guyana.
