## Summary

Irish trio Kingfishr will release their second album, ‘Weight of the Feather’, on 9 April next year. The record follows their successful debut, ‘Halcyon’, and explores how the band’s unexpected rise has changed their lives and brought new pressures.

Recorded at Angelic Studios in Oxfordshire and Snap Studios in London, the album was produced with James Flannigan. The band say its themes include pressure, a possible breakup and nearly losing a member, alongside working out what they want from the group and how to honour those who supported them. A new single, also titled ‘Weight of the Feather’, is due soon.
