## Key points

- Kirby Air Riders has been updated to version 1.3.4.
- The patch fixes bugs without changing performance.
- Save replays as videos before updating to avoid compatibility issues.

## Summary

Nintendo has released version 1.3.4 of Kirby Air Riders for Switch 2 alongside a new in-game event. The patch fixes bugs but makes no changes to rider or machine performance.

The update may affect saved replays: version 1.3.4 may be incompatible with replays from versions 1.3.0 to 1.3.3, and cannot play replays from 1.2.0 or earlier. Players can save replays as video files before updating, using the Record option in Cached Data and Data Replay; this requires a microSD Express card. The new event uses rules from Shadow Star’s Revenge and runs until 9 November 2026.
