KPop Demon Hunters, the Netflix animated hit, is being added to the Criterion Collection, with a release date of 3 November 2026. The move recognises the film's cultural and commercial impact, following its record-breaking streaming run, chart-topping soundtrack and Oscar win for Best Animated Feature, and gives fans a chance to revisit the story of demon-hunting girl group HUNTR/X while they wait for a sequel that isn't expected until 2029.

The Criterion edition will feature a new digital master approved by directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, a full-length animatic with an introduction from the pair, and a new making-of documentary. Physical copies will also include new cover art depicting HUNTR/X and Derpy Tiger, plus a set of collectible postcards illustrated by members of the film's creative team.
