Builders sue Kyle Sandilands over renovation work on unsold Glenorie estate

Daily Mail ·

Kyle Sandilands' country estate in Glenorie, Sydney, which has struggled to sell despite significant price reductions, faces fresh complications after luxury builders launched civil proceedings against him. Alter Build Co Pty Ltd filed a statement of claim in NSW District Court relating to goods and services connected to the extensive renovation works carried out on the property, adding another complication to his property woes.

Sandilands purchased the 9,580-square-metre property for $3 million in 2022 and renovated the dilapidated 1970s structure into a six-bedroom, five-bathroom Georgian-style mansion inspired by Elvis Presley's Graceland. Initially listed at $5.7–5.9 million, the asking price was reduced to $4.9 million and the home remains unsold. The dispute comes amid significant financial strain on the radio broadcaster, who was suspended and subsequently terminated from KIIS FM in March, settling with parent company ARN for approximately $14 million in June.
