Kylie Minogue headlined the AFL Grand Final pre-game entertainment at Melbourne Cricket Ground, performing a spectacular 20-minute set for more than 100,000 spectators and a television audience of millions. The hometown appearance marked her first at the event and showcased her enduring popularity through major hits, elaborate costumes, dancers, pyrotechnics and aerial staging despite persistent rain.

Her set included “Love at First Sight”, “In Your Eyes”, “Spinning Around” and “Can’t Get You Out of My Head”, with William Barton and G Flip appearing as surprise guests. Minogue is the first solo Australian headliner since Paul Kelly in 2019; she has sold more than 80 million records, achieved nine Australian No. 1 albums and recently returned to international prominence with “Padam Padam” and her Grammy-winning album Tension.
