## Summary

Lady Gaga, Shakira, P!nk and 23 other songwriters or songwriting teams have been nominated for the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s 2027 class. The ballot recognises writers across genres and includes artists whose songs have shaped popular music, as well as collaborators behind well-known hits.

There are 26 candidates competing for six places: three for performing songwriters and three for non-performing songwriters. Eligible voters can select up to three nominees in each category and must submit their ballots by midnight ET on 14 December. The Hall, established in 1969, has around 400 inductees; if all eight nominated members of WAR were inducted, they would form its largest ensemble.
