Country star Lainey Wilson has been confirmed to host the CMA Awards for a third consecutive year, making her the first woman to solo-host the ceremony more than once. The announcement, made live on ESPN's College GameDay to coincide with the show's 500th broadcast, marks a milestone year as the CMA Awards celebrates its 60th anniversary, with organisers framing Wilson's return as a fitting choice for the occasion.

The 60th annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday 18 November on ABC and Disney+, before streaming on Hulu the next day. Wilson, 34, co-hosted the 2024 show alongside Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning before solo-hosting in 2025, following in the footsteps of Dolly Parton (1988) and Reba McEntire (1991) as female hosts; Vince Gill remains the most frequent solo host with ten appearances. Wilson has also won 12 CMA Awards in just three years, placing her second on the all-time female winners' list behind Miranda Lambert's 14. Nominees for this year's awards will be revealed on 10 September, with tickets going on sale from 18 September.
