## Summary

Venezuelan singer-songwriter Lasso has released his 11-track album *Objetos Frágiles en Ambientes Hostiles*, exploring love, heartbreak and the contradictions of relationships through an expanded pop sound. He says the title honours people pursuing their dreams despite discouragement, and the record marks his first release since leaving Universal Music Mexico.

Lasso wrote around 200 songs over two years, then narrowed them down with help from friends and colleagues; the album’s tracks span different stages of that period. Produced by Manuel Lara, it includes earlier singles, new songs and collaborations with Ana Mena and Nina. Lasso highlights “Borracho Otra Vez” as a festival-ready song that combines two ideas, and describes another track as among the most honest he has written.
