Leeds confirm Wilson arrival on free transfer
Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Wales international Harry Wilson on a four-year contract, marking the club's first acquisition of the summer transfer window. The 29-year-old attacking midfielder joins as a free agent following the expiry of his Fulham contract at the end of June, giving newly returned Leeds an experienced Premier League player at no transfer fee.
Wilson moved to Fulham from Liverpool for £12m in 2022 after a loan spell, and enjoyed his best goalscoring season last term with 10 goals in 36 appearances. He said Leeds were the club that showed the strongest interest once he became available, and spoke about the need for a "big personality" to handle the pressure and demands of the club. Capped 69 times by Wales, Wilson arrives as Leeds are also linked with Southampton's Shea Charles and Germany midfielder Julian Brandt.
