LEGO has announced a buildable Star Trek: The Original Series U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 bridge set, expanding its still limited Star Trek range. Due for release on 1 September, the $199.99 set is available for pre-order exclusively through LEGO and recreates both the bridge and transporter room.

The modular model includes eight minifigures: Kirk, Spock, Uhura, Sulu, McCoy, Chekov, Chapel and Scott, alongside four tribbles and character accessories. Interactive elements include a moving captain’s chair, functioning transporter dial and opening turbolift doors; LEGO’s only other Star Trek set is based on The Next Generation’s Enterprise-D.
