Lego Skylines is a cozy city builder from the studio that’s repairing Cities: Skylines II
Lego Skylines, a new blocky city-building video game, was unveiled at Gamescom's Opening Night Live. It is being made by Iceflake Studios, the developer that took over Cities: Skylines II after Paradox Interactive dropped original creator Colossal Order following that game's troubled launch, meaning fans will be watching closely to see whether the studio's recent form carries over into this cheerier, Lego-branded project.
The game will launch on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2, though no release date has yet been confirmed. Paradox Interactive will again act as publisher. Its trailer blends classic Lego visual charm with familiar city-builder mechanics such as residential plots and emergency services like a fire brigade, and early impressions of Iceflake's work on Cities: Skylines II have reportedly been positive.
