LEGO has unveiled a new 18+ set recreating the Batmobile from Tim Burton's 1992 film "Batman Returns," aimed at adult collectors ahead of the holiday shopping season. The 2,269-piece, 17-inch model stands out for its ability to transform into the Batmissile by pressing a button that drops away the vehicle's sides, replicating the film's memorable escape scene.

The set includes hidden details such as the Penguin's tracking device and a removable canopy for cockpit access, alongside a Batman minifigure with a newly designed cape and cowl to reflect Michael Keaton's bulkier on-screen look. Priced at $229.99, it goes on general sale on 4 September, with LEGO Insiders able to buy it early from 1 September.
