Leon Bridges has announced Happiness Anytime, his fifth studio album, and released its first four songs. The rollout signals a return to a more upbeat, dance-oriented sound while retaining the soul and R&B influences associated with his work.

The 12-track album follows 2024’s Leon and is being issued in three four-song instalments, with the first featuring “Light the Way”, “Tears of Joy”, “Illusion” and “Your Love Is Electric”. It was produced with J Lloyd-Watson and Lydia Kitto of Jungle, and Bridges has described its focus as finding joy in ordinary life.
