Leon Bridges Launches New Album With Four Singles
Leon Bridges has announced his new album, Happiness Anytime, alongside the release of four songs from the record, giving listeners an early, substantial preview ahead of the full release. The album marks the follow-up to his 2024 record Leon and was produced by J Lloyd-Watson and Lydia Kitto of the British trio Jungle, with bassist Pino Palladino also contributing in the studio.
Happiness Anytime comprises 12 tracks in total and is set for release on 25 September via Columbia. The four songs released today are "Light the Way," "Tears of Joy," "Illusion," and "Your Love Is Electric." In a press statement, Bridges said he wanted the album to convey a sense of lightness rather than chase fleeting happiness, describing his role as being "the light" amid pressures to fix the world's problems.
