Deadline · 2 hours ago

Actress Leslie Grossman is returning to the "Power" franchise, reprising her role as Florence "Flossie" Siegel in the new prequel series Power: Origins. The show picks up after the events of Power Book III: Raising Kanan's series finale, marking the character's continuation into the franchise's fourth spinoff and extending Starz's expanding "Power" Universe.

Power: Origins will explore the backstories of fan-favourite characters Ghost, Tommy and Kanan as young, ambitious entrepreneurs rising in New York's streets. Season one, produced by Lionsgate Television and created by Courtney A. Kemp and Sascha Penn (who also serves as showrunner), has completed filming in New York and New Jersey. It follows Power Book II: Ghost, Raising Kanan and Power Book IV: Force, with a fifth spinoff, Power: Legacy, also recently greenlit; Grossman will next appear in season 13 of American Horror Story.
