Tony and Grammy winner Leslie Odom Jr. has revealed that a documentary is being made about his return to Broadway's Hamilton, marking ten years since the musical's original run. He is the only original cast member to have performed in Hamilton's West End production, having played Aaron Burr for a nine-week run at London's Victoria Palace Theatre this summer, which he described as living up to everything he had hoped for despite the physical toll of eight shows a week.

Odom Jr. told Deadline that a film crew documented his return to the Broadway production in New York, calling it "really beautiful" and noting that ten years is "a special marker" for the show. The documentary is complete and set to be submitted to film festivals this autumn. His West End run, which ended after nine weeks at the Victoria Palace Theatre, included his birthday performance on 6 August, which also coincided with the 11th anniversary of Hamilton's Broadway opening in 2015.
