Lily Allen Documentary Set at Prime Video
Prime Video has announced a feature-length documentary about Lily Allen, described as an intimate portrait of the singer's life and career. The film, directed by Mat Whitecross, arrives on the back of Allen's fifth album, "West End Girl," her first in seven years, which drew significant attention for its candid exploration of her marriage to actor David Harbour. Allen is currently touring the album and preparing for summer festival dates.
The untitled documentary will trace Allen's path from her early "Queen of MySpace" fame to her current status as a major cultural figure, and will include interviews with unnamed people close to her, though no participants have been confirmed. It is set to launch globally in 2027 and is co-produced by Magna Studios and Mint Pictures, with Altitude handling theatrical release and home entertainment rights worldwide.
