Desronvil has now made his first direct public remarks in a video statement, redirecting focus to three named victims who cannot speak for themselves. His attorney has vigorously defended him against accusations from other jurors that he refused to uphold the law during deliberations, characterising all allegations as "fabricated". The case returns to court on Tuesday for a status conference, where prosecutors are expected to outline plans for a new trial, whilst Clancy's defence team has filed motions to dismiss the charges and investigate the other jurors' conduct.
