Linkin Park has announced a new documentary, "Unshatter", which will open in cinemas on 30 September, chronicling the band's return following the 2017 death of singer Chester Bennington. Directed by the band's DJ and creative director Joseph Hahn, the film traces the seven-year period between Bennington's death and the group's 2024 reformation with new vocalist Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara and drummer Colin Brittain, offering fans an intimate account of how the band rebuilt itself both musically and personally.

The documentary combines archival footage, studio material and live performances, following the band from early 2022 recording sessions through to the release of their "From Zero" album and a celebrated launch concert in São Paulo. It will be released alongside a companion live album, the "Unshatter Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo)", featuring performances spanning the band's career, including tracks not featured in the film itself. Tickets for the cinema release go on sale on 13 August, and band members Hahn and Mike Shinoda have described the project as a candid look at loss, friendship and reinvention rather than a conventional music documentary.
