Jill Wagner, star of Paramount+'s "Lioness," has spoken about her decision to settle on a farm in Tennessee to raise her family, explaining that being close to relatives was the deciding factor. In an interview with Fox News Digital ahead of the show's third season, Wagner said she is originally from North Carolina and had wanted to remain near her family when choosing where to put down roots.
Wagner explained that she and her partner initially searched for property in and around North Carolina but were unable to find anything suitable, before locating land across the border in Tennessee. She said she wanted to marry and raise her children somewhere she considered special, describing her typical day on the farm as starting at 6:30am and involving a significant amount of physical work.
