Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer Sees $19.4 Million Pay Package For FY 2026
Lionsgate Studios chief executive Jon Feltheimer received a total pay package of $19.37 million for the company's 2026 fiscal year, which ended in March, roughly double the $9.82 million he received the previous year. The rise, disclosed in an annual proxy statement filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, comes shortly after Lionsgate renewed his contract through to 2031, underlining the board's continued backing of his leadership as the studio navigates its recent separation from Starz.
Feltheimer's package comprised a $1.5 million salary, a $6.5 million cash bonus (up sharply from $1.5 million a year earlier), and stock awards worth $10.68 million. The company said the jump was largely due to the equity portion of his fiscal 2025 incentive bonus, valued at about $4.4 million, being included in this year's figures. Other senior executives saw more modest pay: vice chair Michael Burns's compensation fell to $4.66 million from $7.72 million, while CFO James Barge ($6.29 million), COO Brian Goldsmith ($5.23 million) and general counsel Bruce Tobay ($4.49 million) rounded out the top five. The proxy cited the Starz separation, box office momentum from films such as The Housemaid and Now You See Me, Now You Don't, and television renewals as key achievements underpinning the awards; Lionsgate reports first-quarter fiscal 2027 results on 6 August and holds its annual shareholder meeting on 15 September.
