Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer’s Pay Rises to $19.4 Million in 2026

The Hollywood Reporter · 3 hours ago

Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer's total compensation rose to $19.37 million in fiscal 2026, up sharply from $9.82 million the previous year, according to the company's latest proxy filing released on Tuesday. The increase comes after a strong year for the studio, which had two box office hits in Michael and The Housemaid and saw nearly all of its scripted TV series renewed. Feltheimer's contract has also been extended through 2031, cementing his position as CEO, a role he has held since March 2000 alongside vice chairman Michael Burns.

The pay rise was driven mainly by a bigger bonus, up to $6.5 million from $1.2 million, and higher stock awards of $10.6 million compared with $6.7 million the year before, while his base salary held steady at $1.5 million. His new contract includes stock options that only vest if Lionsgate's share price hits $17.50, $20.00 and $22.50 targets, and follows the recent split-off of Lionsgate Studios as a standalone public company from Starz. Elsewhere in the filing, vice chairman Burns's pay fell to $4.65 million from $7.72 million, and CFO James Barge's total pay dropped to $6.3 million from $7.12 million.

  • Feltheimer's 2026 pay jumped to $19.4 million from $9.8 million
  • Box office hits and TV renewals helped drive higher bonus and stock awards
