Camp Bestival has evolved from a festival for parents into a comprehensive family experience where children and adults attend together. Organised by Rob da Bank, the event now in its 18th year operates across dedicated activity zones, including a woodland area with live percussion created from household items, a textile workshop with sewing installations, vegetable tasting, fairground rides, and circus performances. The festival integrates these child-oriented activities seamlessly with professional music programming.

Musical offerings span from children's entertainment such as MC Grammar—who performs hip-hop remixes of children's classics—to main-stage acts including Bastille and appearances by Bluey and Mister Tumble. Interactive installations allow children to manipulate sound and visuals through movement and facial expressions. The festival's approach combines high production values with accessible, family-centred programming, creating what attendees describe as opportunities for children to develop confidence whilst strengthening family bonds over repeated visits.
