LOCASH have released “Talkin Bout” to US country radio, presenting it as a concise, upbeat love song built around positive, sing-along lyrics. The release matters because the duo believe its direct hook, brisk running time and radio-friendly production could make it their next successful country-radio track.

The single was sent to country radio on 29 July and runs for two minutes and 37 seconds. Written nearly three years earlier by Preston Brust, Chris Lucas, Nate Kenyon and producer Blake Bollinger, it moves from small-town imagery such as cold beer and dirt roads to a romantic focus on one woman, ending with aspirations for a shared future. Brust also insisted on the stylised title “Talkin Bout”, without apostrophes or conventional punctuation, reflecting his personal writing style.
