- He denies the allegations and has pleaded not guilty.
- He was released on $10,000 bail and must avoid the complainant.

## Summary

Peters brought a barking dog called Morris on a lead to Orleans District Court in Cape Cod, where he faced reporters ahead of a hearing on rape-related charges. The court appearance adds a striking detail to a developing case involving allegations of rape, drugging a person for sex and giving alcohol to a minor.

The charges concern an alleged incident on 23 May 2025, when Peters was 19 and the complainant was 17, according to his lawyer. Peters has pleaded not guilty, denies the allegations and was released on $10,000 bail, with orders to stay away from the complainant and not post about her online; he is due back in court next month. The complainant has not spoken publicly.
