- Robert Carlyle is also joining the Netflix series.
- Season three may not arrive until 2028.

## Summary

Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom are joining the third season of Netflix’s The Gentlemen, bringing the Lord of the Rings co-stars together on screen for the first time since the film trilogy ended in 2003. Their casting, alongside Robert Carlyle, was announced as production began on Guy Ritchie’s crime comedy drama.

The show’s second season arrived in September, and the two-year gap between its first seasons suggests season three may not appear until 2028. The article also notes that Wood is due to return as Frodo in The Hunt for Gollum, a Lord of the Rings spin-off scheduled for December 2027, with Andy Serkis directing and Ian McKellen returning as Gandalf.
