L'Rain has announced a cross-country autumn tour in support of her upcoming album 'Fata Morgana,' scheduled for release in mid-August. The promotional campaign includes the new track 'Borderline,' which represents a departure from the more chaotic energy of the album's lead single.

The song arrives with a visually arresting video helmed by director Mackai Sharp, built around the destructive transformation of an ice sculpture through chainsaw work—a concept designed to honour L'Rain's mother, Lorraine, whose name gave the album its title and who had an affection for ice. The video features musical collaborators including Arooj Aftab, vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant, Tasha, Rena Anakwe, and E. Jane.
