LUCY, the recording alias of New England musician Cooper B. Handy, has announced a new album titled CITIZEN'S ARREST, due for release on 9 October, alongside the first single "COURTSIDE". Handy is known for his prolific output across multiple projects, including the lo-fi rock duo Taxidermists, the electro-pop project Safe Mind with Boy Harsher's Gus Muller, and the dance project Club Casualties, in addition to his solo avant-pop work as LUCY.

"COURTSIDE" combines a bass-heavy hip-hop beat, echo-laden vocals and an off-kilter drum pattern, with the sound of breaking dishes woven in, and comes with an accompanying video directed by Dominic Poropat. The 18-track album features a guest appearance from Maria Manow on "100 Miles" and is available for pre-order ahead of its October release.
