Luke Combs has become the first solo country artist to headline Wembley Stadium in London, with Guinness World Records confirming the milestone after his three sold-out shows at the 90,000-capacity venue over the weekend of 29 July and 1–2 August. The achievement marks a significant moment for country music's growing presence in the UK, distinguishing Combs from other high-profile acts who have played the stadium, such as Taylor Swift, who Guinness noted is considered primarily a pop artist despite her country-era material.

The Wembley run capped a 23-date tour called My Kinda Saturday Night, which began in Paradise, Nevada, in March and spanned North America and Europe. In the past fortnight alone, Combs also headlined two nights at Ireland's Slane Castle and two more at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium. Combs has built strong UK chart success in recent years, placing three albums in the Official Albums Chart top 10, and his Wembley feat comes amid a broader surge of country music at major British venues, including Zach Bryan's Hyde Park shows and the C2C Festival at The O2.
