M. Night Shyamalan's 2023 thriller Knock at the Cabin is leaving Peacock in the US, marking the end of its streaming run on the platform. The film, which closed out Shyamalan's long-running deal with Universal before he moved to Warner Bros for Trap, is notable as the lowest-grossing entry on his resume in two decades, despite arriving after a string of well-received comeback hits.

The film starred Jonathan Groff, Dave Bautista, Rupert Grint and Ben Aldridge in a story about a family held hostage by four strangers claiming to be harbingers of the apocalypse. It grossed $54 million worldwide against a reported $20 million budget and holds a 67% score on Rotten Tomatoes, whose critical consensus calls it "upper-tier Shyamalan" despite some scares falling flat. US viewers can watch it on Peacock until 1 September, after which it will no longer be available on the service.
