Mac Miller's estate has announced a 10th anniversary edition of his 2016 album The Divine Feminine, due out on 2 October with three previously unreleased tracks. The reissue marks a decade since the record's release and continues efforts by Miller's family to preserve his legacy following his death in 2018, coinciding with a fresh surge of interest in the album driven by social media.
The first new song, "Butterflies", produced by Taylor Graves and featuring bass from Miller's close friend and collaborator Thundercat, was released on 21 August, with two further unreleased tracks from the same recording sessions still to come. The Divine Feminine originally peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, Miller's second-highest chart placement, and its track "Cinderella" has recently found new popularity on TikTok, giving the late rapper a posthumous top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Miller's family also launched an interactive fan website this week featuring archival material and contributions from friends and collaborators.
