## Key points

- “Madison” is being developed as a feature film.
- Story Kitchen is targeting a theatrical release.
- The game’s free story expansion is due in 2027.

## Summary

Story Kitchen has partnered with Bloodious Games to develop a feature film set in the world of the psychological horror game “Madison”. The planned theatrical adaptation has no confirmed cast, director, writer, release date or distributor, so its production details remain undecided.

In the game, teenager Luca Maxwell receives an instant camera inhabited by a demon, which draws him into a ritual begun by a satanist serial killer. Launched in 2022, “Madison” has won awards including best game at EVA 2022, and also has a VR version. The partnership comes as Bloodious expands the series: a free story expansion is planned for 2027, alongside a Halloween update adding two difficulty modes.
