Madness have unveiled a new trailer for their 1981 part-mockumentary film "Take It Or Leave It", which has been restored in 4K and will return to UK and Ireland cinemas later this year. The film, starring band members playing themselves as they rose to fame, has rarely been seen since its original release, and this marks its first ever outing on Blu-ray, giving longtime fans and newer listeners a chance to revisit the ska group's early story.

The restored film, undertaken by the BFI, hits cinemas on 2 October, with a Blu-ray release following on 19 October. A premiere on 30 September at BFI Southbank's NFT1 will feature a Q&A with band members, while the limited-edition Blu-ray/DVD includes new interviews with Suggs, Mark "Bedders" Bedford and director Dave "Robbo" Robinson, alongside archive commentary, behind-the-scenes footage, the original 1981 trailer, nine music videos and a collector's booklet with writing by Andrew Pulver, Johnny Mains and Neil Tennant.
