The card, part of a set built around giving core Avatar characters multiple versions across the show's three seasons, is often eclipsed by flashier legendary creatures but offers a distinctive, powerful strategy for players willing to build around it.

For five mana, the card is a 3/3 vigilance creature that creates a token on entry, but its standout feature is a flexible X-cost ability that sets the power and toughness of all your creatures to X/X, with the cost payable by tapping artifacts and creatures. Mooney said the design, inspired by the 2007 card Mirror Entity, represents Katara as a "dangerous combat threat" rather than her more supportive three-colour counterpart, Katara, the Fearless, and works best in the mid-to-late game within blue-white token strategies, with other Avatar-set cards like South Pole Voyager and Suki, Courageous Rescuer complementing the build.
