## Summary

Magnolia Pictures will give *Just Look Up* a one-week Oscar-qualifying run in Los Angeles from 4 December, ahead of a wider theatrical release in early 2027. The documentary follows climate activist and stand-up comedian Michael Greenberg and his young colleagues, whose confrontational, non-violent actions aim to pressure politicians and businesses to address global warming.

Directed by Betsy Hershey and Emma Wall, the film includes Greenberg’s comedy performances and has music from Chappell Roan, Doechii and Billie Eilish. It premiered at CPH:DOX, where it won the F:ACT Award, and has screened at festivals including Tribeca and Sydney; it is also due to screen at IDFA in Amsterdam. The filmmakers say they wanted a character-led story that could offer audiences a sense of agency and hope rather than add to climate-related despair.
