Los Angeles indie artist and producer Mal Not Bad has released “DHF”, accompanied by a music video featuring choreographed dancing in a church. The release offers another preview of their forthcoming second album, Sophomore, whose schedule has moved from September to early 2027.

Mal Not Bad said the video draws on Fleabag and personal Catholic references, aiming to mix humour with emotional ambiguity. It also showcases shorts from their “Ode to Catholic School” clothing line, due to launch with the album, and features collaborators including Jon Gries, Jill Rezen, Wallice, Cal Kevany and Maia Nelson.
