Colombian singer Maluma says his new album, Loco X Volver, and a custom Hot Wheels model reflect a desire to reconnect with his childhood as he prepares to become a father of two. The project draws on memories of family, cars and Colombia, while illustrating how nostalgia continues to shape both his music and public image.

The Hot Wheels release is a Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 inspired by farm trips with his parents and is part of the 2026 Global Legends Collection, available for pre-order through Mattel Creations. Maluma’s seventh studio album, released in May, has produced two Billboard Tropical Airplay number ones, while a new world tour with Fénix Entertainment is planned for 2027 and 2028; a Hot Wheels pop-up will run in Venice, California, from 28 to 30 August.
