Fox News · 16 hours ago

Federal prosecutors have charged Daejon Labrayae Love and Taylor Jamie Chan over an alleged $1.3 million romance and investment fraud involving 26 women across four US states. Love is accused of falsely presenting himself as a San Francisco 49ers player or wealthy developer, using the persona to build trust and persuade victims to invest.

A video obtained by OutKick in 2024 appears to show Love claiming to sign with the “Niners”; investigators say neither the NFL nor the 49ers employed him. The FBI alleges he used altered football videos, 49ers-themed items, fake money, paid social-media engagement and fabricated account balances, while Chan allegedly acted as his financial adviser and displayed supposed investment returns.
