## Summary

A 33-year-old man was arrested after allegedly attacking a 34-year-old man with a sharp object on River Valley Road in Singapore, then fleeing by car. The incident matters because the suspect allegedly failed to stop for police and the ensuing chase ended in a collision that injured three other people.

Police said they were alerted at about 8.35pm on Friday, 6 November, and spotted the suspect’s car on Tessensohn Road at about 12.05am on Saturday. The car struck another vehicle and overturned at the junction of Race Course Road and Birch Road; the other car’s 36-year-old driver and two passengers aged 26 to 42 were taken conscious to hospital, as was the assault victim. The suspect is expected to face charges of voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous means and failing to provide a breath specimen, and is also being investigated for dangerous driving causing hurt.
