Manchester City have signed Brazilian winger Allan Elias from Palmeiras in a deal that could reach £34.2m, as they continue heavy summer spending under manager Enzo Maresca. The 22-year-old, regarded as a direct replacement for fellow Brazilian Savio following his £75m departure to Tottenham Hotspur, arrives after being named the best breakthrough player in Brazil's top flight in 2025.

City have paid an initial £32m plus £2.2m in add-ons for the right-sided winger, who has signed a five-year contract after progressing through Palmeiras' youth system and recording nine goals and 12 assists in 96 appearances. The move takes City's summer outlay beyond £230m, following the signings of Elliot Anderson (£116m) and Ayyoub Bouaddi (£85.6m), while the club have also raised over £286m through sales including Rodri to Barcelona and Tijani Reijnders to Al-Qadsiah, and remain in talks over Cody Gakpo and Enzo Fernandez.
