Man faces murder charge after innocent 12-year-old is killed in Bronx street gunfire
A 12-year-old boy was fatally shot by a stray bullet whilst riding his bicycle in the Bronx during street gunfire. Jacob Freytes became an unintended victim of the incident, which also left two other men injured. The shooting claimed the life of a child who was simply cycling in his neighbourhood.
Following the incident, William Ferrer was arrested and charged with murder. Detectives led him away in handcuffs after investigating the fatal shooting, holding him accountable for the death and injuries that occurred.
