A 72-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in a caravan at Overstone Lakes holiday park in Sywell, Northamptonshire. Police are investigating the circumstances of Susan Lumsden’s death and are appealing for witnesses, despite having a suspect in custody.

Officers were called at about 6.20pm on Monday following reports of an assault and found the body of Ms Lumsden, 62, inside a caravan. Detectives are seeking information from anyone in the Ecton Lane area, particularly the holiday park, in the hours before the incident; the park says it is co-operating fully with the investigation.
