## Key points

- Manchester United are reportedly interested in City defender Rayan Ait-Nouri.
- Several clubs are assessing January moves involving Arsenal players.
- Crystal Palace may consider England assistant Anthony Barry as manager.

## Summary

Manchester United are reportedly considering an unexpected move for Manchester City left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri, with personal terms said not to be a barrier. The possible transfer stands out because it would involve a direct approach for a player at United’s local rivals.

Other reported transfer and managerial developments include Crystal Palace considering England assistant Anthony Barry if they dismiss Pierre Sage, and Barcelona monitoring Arsenal defender Piero Hincapie.
