Netflix has ordered Arrivals: A New Manifest Mystery, a spin-off set in the same universe as Manifest but centred on new characters. It reunites Manifest creator Jeff Rake with writers Margaret Easley and Laura Putney, preserving creative continuity while expanding a franchise that found major success on the streaming service.

The new series begins when a plane crash-lands in Denver and its passengers emerge without memories of their identities or origins. A social worker and a Homeland Security agent will work with them to avert a catastrophe; the announcement was made on 28 August, referencing Manifest’s Flight 828. Manifest ran for three seasons on NBC before Netflix commissioned its fourth and final season, released across 2022 and 2023.
