Marcus Rashford has joined an appeal to help locate Anton Green, a 43-year-old British man reported missing in Colombia. Green’s family says they have had no contact with him since 5 August, an unusually long silence, and is seeking information from locals and expatriates.

Green, originally from Whalley Range, has lived in Colombia since 2023 and was believed to be staying near Fontibón or Mesitas del Colegio, with possible plans to travel to Ecuador. He is described as dark-skinned, about 5ft 6in tall, with short afro hair; the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said it is supporting his family and liaising with local authorities.
