Marquez dominates to win 10th German MotoGP
Marc Marquez delivered a commanding performance at the Sachsenring, winning both Saturday's sprint race and Sunday's grand prix to maintain his legendary status at the German circuit. Qualifying on pole and leading the main race throughout, the Ducati rider finished nearly two seconds clear of rivals Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez, marking his 13th victory at the venue and his 10th in the premier class—achievements that match Giacomo Agostini's long-standing records.
The dual victory positions Marquez third in the championship standings, though 18 points separate him from overall leader Jorge Martin. The weekend proved costly for others, as Marco Bezzecchi's qualifying crash resulted in a collarbone fracture requiring surgery, dropping him to fourth in the standings, whilst Ogura's second-place finish elevates him to second in the championship fight. Competition resumes at Silverstone on 9 August.
