Marc Marquez won the Aragon Grand Prix for the third consecutive year, strengthening his position in the MotoGP title race as he closes in on championship leader Jorge Martin. The Ducati rider, a seven-time world champion, overtook Aprilia's Marco Bezzecchi in a tense high-speed battle to secure the win, having also triumphed in Saturday's sprint race.

The victory was Marquez's eighth at the MotorLand Aragon circuit and saw him climb to second in the standings on 237 points, overtaking Bezzecchi (232) and narrowing the gap to Martin, who leads on 256 points despite finishing fifth on the day. Bezzecchi, who started from pole, described a near-collision with Marquez during the overtake but praised his rival's speed and experience, finishing third behind KTM's Pedro Acosta in second.
