Marvel Comics has confirmed that Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, survived his apparent death and is returning to seek revenge on Frank Castle in The Punisher #7. The development renews one of Marvel’s most violent street-level rivalries, positioning Fisk as a major threat after Castle believed he had eliminated him.

The current Punisher series by Benjamin Percy follows 2025’s The Punisher: Red Band, whose finale saw Frank manipulate Kingpin and Tombstone into confronting each other. Frank then appeared to kill Fisk with gunfire, but a preview and the newly released seventh issue show him recovering in hospital, setting up another confrontation between the two characters.
