## Key points

- Marvel plans a lower-budget spy drama called Zodiac.
- The series is due in 2028.
- A smaller budget could help it run for multiple seasons.

## Summary

Marvel plans to use its upcoming spy drama Zodiac to reset its television strategy after Avengers: Secret Wars, with a smaller budget than some recent MCU shows. The lower spending may make it easier to bring established characters and actors into supporting roles, while giving the series a better chance of running for multiple seasons.

Zodiac is scheduled for release in 2028. The report says only Daredevil: Born Again season 3 is due to air before Secret Wars, expected at the end of 2027; Marvel has also cancelled a second season of Wonder Man and said Born Again will end after season 3. TV chief Brad Winderbaum has said viewing figures influence decisions about which shows continue.
